The Midnight Gang
Howard and I have been friends since we were twelve years old.
We were both spear carriers in the school plays, but he went a bit further with the acting stuff than I did.
He’s currently with a touring production of The Midnight Gang, an adaptation of a children’s book by David Walliams. He plays both the hunchbacked hospital porter…
… and the evil matron.
Today the fates brought us together in Oundle, where were are moored and Howard was performing. We were joined by our friends from the Bahamas Jeff and Jo who will be on Wharram for the next couple of days. We are once again moored next to a bar, and there are rumors of a skittles game in the offing, so I won’t write much. Here are more pictures from the show, which is wonderful. If they are mostly of Howard, well, we’ve been friends for a long time.
If the production comes anywhere near you, go and see it. Take all the kids you know, or just enjoy it as a grown up. Shows are selling out, so get your tickets early. It’s a blast.
